How much power does a 6kw solar system make?

How many kw hours are you expecting to  make in purchasing a 6kw solar system running through a 5kw inverter you ask? We recently installed 2 jobs out the back of Ipswich and these guys bought together as neighbours, the exact same system (240w Perlight USA Pollycrystalline Panels) with the Quality JFY SUNTWINS 5000 inverter. We decided to throw in a wireless JFY SOLAR DOG so they can remotely check their system from the comfort of inside their house.   One guy has North plus another string of North East, the other has a North with Dead WEST panels. The second guy has been achieving around a 1kw per day loss on his system for total yield, but he would have a MUCH BETTER SPREAD ON POWER! And this is what you are after, now without a Feed in Tariff. September 11 seen both systems crank out 33kw!!!! WOW  ….

Is solar still worth it?

in QLD? YES in NSW? YES anywhere? pretty much everywhere, YES!!!   look at it like your mortgage, your now paying off your very own house rather than renting. Thats exactly what you are doing with a solar system, buying your OWN power rather than suffering and paying what your electricity retailer is charging you!

Monocystalline Vs Polycrystalline Solar Panels

So you’ve had a few solar salesman come around and tell you that the panels they sell are better than all the other competitors offerings’?? “Our panels are the best because they are (MONOCRYSTALLINE  / POLYCRYSTALLINE)!!” – A few have said this… now you are really confused??   Let me put it straight and simple, It’s 2013, Monocrytalline Panels are now considered old technology and redundant. Monocrystalline Panels were once considered the very best (and they were) but the Mono’s cost more to  make, and the Poly’s technology and testing has now caught up and achieve a result that has surpassed the Mono’s for a cheaper price. Because of this, most manufacturers are no longer considering Monocrystalline a viable option, either should you. To put it bluntly, if any company is out there offering Monocrystallines to you, please take into careful consideration and  disregard this as they are more than….

Queenslanders with 44c Feed In Tariff need to act NOW!

On the 25th of June last year, it was announced by the Campbell Newman Government that any application to Energex for the QLD Solar bonus Scheme will no longer be accepted from the 10th July, 2012. Some 50,000+ applicants scrambled and RACED to get their application in time, as it was also announced that the applications put in prior to 10th July, 2012 were good to be approved, as long the successful applicant had their system installed and grid connected prior to 1st July, 2013. With it now being the middle of February, this leaves (on my Calendar) just 4 and a half months left for the better part of the 50,000+ Grid connect approval papers to be shuffled, searched and found amongst last years ‘to-do next year’ pile of paperwork as I will bluntly put it, ‘Sir/Madam, you are RUNNING OUT OF TIME!’ For the last two weeks, Companies….
